While you teach them about the Sharemarket (ASX Teacher Lesson Plans), your students can put what they are learning into practice as they are given a hypothetical $50,000 to trade for a 10 week period.

As a result of playing the Game your students will...

  • begin to learn more about investing which is beneficial for their future

Bond University’s School of Business is Australia’s first and most dynamic private business school, dedicated to grooming individuals for executive-level management careers in the global marketplace.

With a clear charter to foster leadership skills and entrepreneurial vision, our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs are distinguished by the application of the very latest academic theory to the complexities of real-life corporate case studies.

Internationally recognised academics and high profile business leaders have merged their theoretical knowledge and practical experience to develop innovative and flexible curricula that reflect the competitive demands of international business.

With state of the art facilities such as the Macquarie Trading Room students are able to view the latest trading room technology, real time market information and software for simulated trading. The facility is equipped with internal and external tickers and dual screen technology displaying data from Reuters 3000 and Bloomberg Professional.

As a result, our graduates are actively recruited by major national and multinational employers; progressing rapidly through the promotional ranks to achieve high level executive positions at a relatively young age.

How the Game works

  • Students compete either individually or in syndicates (2-4 students)
  • Buy and sell shares "online" in any of the nominated ASX listed companies
  • Place orders to buy or sell shares any time. Orders will be executed when the real sharemarket is open
  • “At market” orders will be filled using the next available price in the real sharemarket. You can also place "at limit" orders (you set the price)
